Well, if you have been wondering where I’ve been, I apologize. I took a writing vacation and worked on a few things that weren’t related to writing, at least not directly. I’ve been learning over the past couple of weeks. I’ve learned about myself and my emotions and how they affect how much, or how little, I write. I also learned I have a terrible penchant for procrastinating when it comes to finishing something. I had planned to have Ursidae (the final book of my science fiction series) finished by July of this year. As you might have guessed it is still sitting around 30k words. I did write in it some last night, but not enough to warrant it’s completion. Ursidae will be my last Infinity Verge novel, but I don’t think I am done with Science Fiction entirely.
Another fun project I’ve been working on, you can see below. I redesigned the covers for the trilogy. I am working also on turning these three separate novels into an omnibus edition, which will release around the same time I release Ursidae. I don’t have an ETA on that, but I hope to have Ursidae finished before November. I have another novel I want to work on for NaNoWriMo.
In other news, editing on The Last Bladesinger still progresses, albeit a bit slower. I realize I cannot make a novel perfect, but I’ll be damned if I don’t try. On one final note, if you haven’t read my Legends of Vandor short stories, the first seven are free on Amazon, until Sunday, so go and grab ’em while you can. Until next time folks.
